PayPal Community

I have made a number of purchases via ebay using paypal as my payment method.  However each time I make a payment ebay connects me through to paypal, i log in then after the payment is completed paypal sends me back to ebay.  This gives me no method to log out of paypal or to determine if I am still logged into paypal.  Today I made an ebay purchase and the same thing happened. I logged out of ebay thinking that would log me also out of paypal. However when I called up the paypal site direct, I was still logged into paypal.   Is this normal? It seems like a security risk to me.  Is there something I am not seeing in either ebay or paypal so I can get automatically logged out of paypal on completion of the transaction or at least a button to manually log out.   ... When making payment for an ebay item using paypal, the system takes me to the paypal log in site and I log in there as expected and go through the steps to make the payment. Now here is my concern. When I have made the payment, the paypal page closes and i return to ebay.  At this point i have no idea as to whether the paypal site  has logged me off correctly or is still open.  Because of this, everytime I make a payment I have to log out of ebay and clear the cash and reset my browser so that I am satisfied that I am actually logged out of paypal.  I why don't you  provide a log out of paypal option once payment is completed so that users know that  they have actually logged out of their paypal account.    My concern is that on the occasions that I may use computer that is not mine or a public place, I may not have the ability to clear the cache and browser history from the browser and fear that my paypal account is still open to any other user of the computer.   Any suggestions?
