The Canadian dollar has been stronger or almost at par with the US dollar for months now. But when you use Paypal's conversion calculator, you would think it was the other way around. Today I wanted to find out what my dollar would be worth. It says: 1 USD = 0.948771 CAD. Even the most basic of converters give a better deal: 1 USD = 0.973900 CAD. And this is supposed to be by their advertising: Canada’s most-loved way to pay and get paid. I think not. I will no longer be using Paypal on any large dollar items. Since they ding me to send the money to my Canadian bank (even though I have a US Dollar account) and then don't even offer a fair exchange rate. Paypal rates are obscene.
