PayPal Community

I tried to use PayPal with Google Play, and somehow it didn't ask me for a funding method. It just so happens that both my primary and backup funding sources are invalid (closed bank account and the debit card associated with it), and I didn't get a chance to choose the valid method. What will happen now? It won't let me change the funding source. I reported the problem to Google explaining the problem, so hopefully they can get this resolved.   UPDATE 1: Alright, I called Google and was able to get a refund. Problem remains with PayPal now. The order status is still pending, which probably means it'll still try to charge the closed bank account. Will the refund automatically override this attempt after awhile? Okay, so just a few days ago, I tried to purchase an item, but it failed and gave me an error. I tried it again, and it did the same. I stopped trying, and found that the payment still sort of went through, but now they're both in reversal stage, on "temporary hold"... What is this madness?
