So, I wanted server for an online game, and started sending recurring payments to a company (through thier site and paypal), paying about 5 dollars a month. l grew disastisfied, and requested to cancel my service. The owner replied and said "canceled". I soon forgot about it, but a few months later, I noticed that automated payments were continuing to be sent. I brought this up with the merchant, and they said that it was my fault for not cancelling the payments myself, and refused to give me a refund. It's only 10 dollars, and I'll live, but am I getting this right? If I set up recurring payments, only I can cancel them, not the merchant? So if I wanted to cancel my Netflix sub, I'd have to cancel on thier site, THEN logon to paypal and cancel thier payments?
