Temporary Hold on my account

    I am still trying to find out why PayPal is placing a hold on my account.  I've emailed twice, and called twice and still cannot get an answer as to why the hold!  Nobody, I repeat, nobody can give me an answer, only that your account will be reviewed and I will be advised at a later date.    I have a 5 star rating on Ebay, never had any complaints or comments, only had positive feedbacks, no returns, or dissatisfied buyers, I ship usually the next day, frequently email buyers as to when to expect their item, and ask them to let me know that their item arrived in good order.  Whatelse could PayPal want?    As of yet, I have not received an answer to my question of why my account is in hold status.  I asked them if their were anyone else that could give me that answer, and they don't know what to tell me.  They agree that my ebay standing is 5 star, no problems at all.  I am completely frustrated with them, as I'm just looking for an answer and nobody can give me one.   I received a call from them today, telling me that the hold will be removed, and when I checked it was!  However, they also told me that it may, or may not be on again in 30 days!!!!!!!!    I know others are having similar problems as I am, but other than cancelling my account and moving on, what can be done with this outfit????  It is a very convenient way to buy and sell, but this is absolutely ridiculous!!!! ...   My payments are also being held!  I have called, trying to understand as to why they are holding my funds.  I also have 100% feedback, never had any complaints, always ship promptly, communicate with the buyer to make sure the items were received in good order.  I don't understand!  The only thing I was told was that they are looking for 100 positive sales without any negative comments.  I have just 86 with no negative comments.  This couldn't be true however as I found out later talking to several friends who use Ebay and PayPal who have less sales than I, and their accounts are not being held.   As someone else mentioned, without any competition, I guess they can do whatever they want, and to who ever they want.  PayPal is a very convenient service, maybe their just getting a little "greedy, like too many other large corporations in this country today! ...
