Well, 10 years ago I was verified, I have the same bank account as I did then, anyway, someone, somehow got my password info from my Paypal account and broke into my banking account, and they cleaned me out. I was out of town on vacation, no one had my Paypal password but me (and the password was in my head) and no one was even close to my computer at my home, because I wasn't even there, I was on vacation. My bank returned my money, but Paypal has never received their money from that incident I assume. I have tried talking to them about it, but they think that I or someone around me somehow got my password info and used it to steal the money. It has been a nightmare for me for the last 10 years now, and at the time that it happened it was really bad as my money was gone and I was out of town, 2 states away, with no funds at all on me. Luckily my bank understood that it wasn't me, they have known me for years, and returned my stolen money back to my account. Anyway, Paypal will not let me get verified again through the same checking account, or new savings account that I didn't even have hooked up to Paypal. I need to be verified to receive money from some of my paid programs that I do for extra money. My husband is disabled now from a very serious illness (2 rods were put in his back) and he wasn't working because of his illness (for 2 years) so our credit is shot now because we couldn't pay our bills. so I can't even get verified through the credit card that Paypal offers. Paypal absolutely says that I can not get verified again, why not, I didn't do anything, they (Paypal) do have breaches themselves sometimes, so why am I the one they are blaming. Does anyone out there have any ideas on what I should or can do? I am not the thief here but Paypal is treating me like I am one. Someone please any ideas??? This is not fair at all to me or others like me that have had this very same problem happen to them. Some of my paid programs don't demand that I be verified to be paid by them, but some others do, which is stupid because the ones who don't demand that I be verified still send my money through Paypal without any problems. This whole nightmare with Paypal is driving me nuts. HELP ME PLEASE! Thank you!
