Hello. Recently I have tried to purchase an album off of iTunes using my PayPal account. This is the first time I have ever tried it though. I have a credit card and bank account linked to my PayPal account as well. Anyways, when I click to buy the album I get brought to the page where I choose what payment method I want, so then I click on the PayPal option. Underneath that option it says: "To validate your PayPal account and verify that you'd like it to be used for iTune Store purchases, click Continue." So I do that and then I'm brought to a new page where I need to log in to my PayPal account and it says above it: "To pay for your purchases from iTunes Store, add PayPal as a payment method. Payment for: iTunes Store purchases." I log in and then a new PayPal page comes up that says: "Use PayPal as your payment method for your purchases on iTunes Store by clicking Agree and Continue." I then proceed to click Agree and Continue and it tells me that I have successfully created a Billing Agreement. Then there is a button that says "Continue to iTunes Store". Now here's where the problem begins. I click that button and then I'm brought to a page where it says I have to download iTunes 10. The thing is, I still have my iTunes application open in another window, and when I go back to that it's still on the page where it says to select my payment method for the album I wanted to buy. It's as if none of those steps with verifying my PayPal happened and it did nothing. I cannot actually VERIFY that I want to use PayPal to purchase items, which is really dumb.. It's like it's stuck in an infinite loop. But when I go to my PayPal account and look under "My preapproved payments" tab, there are ELEVEN, yes 11, for iTunes. They were all active, but I cancelled them all. I don't know why it's not actually allowing me to link my PayPal account.. Is this a PayPal problem? Or would this have to do with iTunes? Who should I contact? Has this happened to anyone else? Thank you for your time!
