I should have yanked >> MY!! << monies out of Paypal as soon as they cleared. The funds understandably were held for the term as required and agreed to, but this particular customer decided to dispute the charges and fraudulently claimed that the goods were damaged >> NOW, 3 months AFTER HAVING >> IN HER POSSESSION. The real reason as she posted in previous e-mails to me was that she is having trouble selling the goods and hoped that I would allow her to reverse and then pay in 4 monthly instalments. I did not agree and thought I had heard the last of it but a month later she went ahead and disputed with her CC company. If Paypal is going to hold monies for 60 days to protect the customer, then why would they merely release the funds after they clear escrow?? FURTHER>> Had I known that the monies are not secure after that, I would not have left them in there. PayPal allowed Credit Card company to charge back even after I sent all the supporting documents proving fraud in e-mail string as well as the final screen capture of the e-mail where I had threatened to file a suit and try to destroy her credit and where she apologized and finally agreed to call her CC company and release... This is UNBELIEVABLE, and even though I know that I will previal, the CC company has 75 more days to reach a decision >> I am without MY monies, while the customer has my goods!!!!!!! If PayPal holds in Escrow for 60 days and no complaint then it should be back on the customer and the CC company to prove otherwise >> BEFORE << MONIES ARE TAKEN!!!!!
