I purchased an item from a website. I was directed to paypal to make payment. I do have a paypal account but didn't use it for that transaction - I had some funds in my account but wanted them for another purchase. I received an E-mail from paypal advising payment made to the supplier and quoting a receipt no. I do not have a transaction no though. I have not received the goods and am getting nowhere with the supplier - not answering phone or E-mails. Do I have paypal protection for this transaction? If so, how do I log a dispute? When I go into the resolutioncentre it wantds a transaction no which I don't have. I am approaching the 45 days for logging a dispute. Any help would be appreciated. There is also the issue that paypal is paying to a potentially fraudulent company. Thanks
