I had a dispute with one of my clients, due to a misunderstanding, he placed a chargeback, then after we talk he told his credit card company to remove it, but the problem is even though Paypal aknowledges the Chargeback claim was withdrawn, they told him that the case is 'being reviewed', and that's the status, in the meantime the funds are held, but we already had an understanding(as Paypal says talk to your cutomer), so why are they still reviewing the case? He was not able to dropit either because the chargeback was initiated? So I want to know if anyone had a similar experience and how long does it take for the case to be closed, so the funds are released? As I said it was just a misunderstanding and we solved it, but it remains unsolved because of the 'being reviewed status'... Please note Paypal had a notice from American Express that the chargeback claim was withdrawn, so why they still insist on REviewing the case?
