I recently sold an item on ebay which was paid for straight away and was dispatched straight away.   A couple of days later the buyer left positive feedback saying how delighted they were and how well the item was packaged. Never heard anything else from the buyer.   Job done ... or so i thought. A couple of weeks after that i was informed by paypal that the funds were being witheld and that i was to provide proof of posting etc.   I provided the proof of postage, the Royal Mail receipt and even the feedback that the buyer had left.   Paypal eventually (and why does it take so long for the dispute process to complete) refunded the money back to the buyer.   Athough the item wasnt tracked as it was a low value item, I dont really know why the money was given back to the buyer since the buyer had left feedback stating they  had received the item and at no point had they contacted me to say there was a query.   I think i've been scammed by the buyer because of the feedback others have left for him, i'm not the only one thats been sucked in. But alas i'm still out of pocket. ... View more
