I have been trying for two weeks to get PayPal to tel me my " SMart Connect " account number without success. Two weeks ago, I was told it could not be given to me over the phone for security reasons? Excuse me? I have already verified my identity 7 ways from Sunday, and I don't have to jump through ANY of these hoops to charge TO the account. Now I want the account number so that I can pay it off. But No . . . PayPal refuses to tell me so they can keep charging outrageous interest on the account. It's MY ACCOUNT. Why can't PayPal just tell me the account number? What can I do to get it? File an action against them with the Better Business Bureau because surely that is a highly unethical business practice to withhold the information the customer needs to close out the account. HELP! Please!
