I figure that I'm gonna have to pay some fees one way or another - that's how these companies stay in business - but I expect the entire fee structure to be clear, transparent, well-documented and consistant. I haven't found anyplace where PayPal meets this criteria... but of course it's hard to really understand all this fee info from ANY financial company. I recently found that my Paypal card expired, so I just e-mailed them to ask for a new one. "Normal" credit card companies automatically send you a new card about a month prior to the old one expiring, and I had assumed that Papal would too/ Hopefully I'll have an answer really soon ... View more

There are other payment methods available, such as Western Union, Alert Pay, Money Gram, etc. But they all have fees and they all have certain restrictions. Online payments are a big hassle and I think they will continue to be that way... I mean, the companies are in business to make money - that is the sole purpose of a business. As circumstances change, they will continue to think up new ways of making money. And, with the market sucking so badly lately, they are not making much in investments and must make it somehow else.
