Its a debit card though, does that matter? The thing I think would happen is since the only reason I can't get my refund is that they havent been able to hear from paypal about sending my refund is that the card company would tell me I can't get a chargeback filed since the seller is trying to get the refund to me. The seller tells me paypal has to do the refund since its over 60 days and they said they can't get any replies from paypal. ... View more

I paid with my debit card. Well the seller said that sending money over the money tab will cost them a fee. I'm really worried that this large amount of money is just floating around in cyberspace. What do you mean by issue a new payment? ... View more

Im kind of in the same situation. I orderd a bass, and they didnt have it in stock, so I waited for a month, still not in stock, I canceled the order, and they said they notified paypal for the refund. The seller said they have been trying to contact paypal because the transactions is over 60 days and onyl paypal can do the refund now. Idk if he is lying, or if he really is having trouble contacting paypal @watshudmanamebe wrote: okay heres my long story, ima try to make it short.   i bought an item that was like 200$. he sent it to the wrong person and sent me something else. i contacted him, we talked it out and he insisted on me to wait for the other person to return the item to him and he would over night it to me. i agreed, hoping this would only take acouple of days.   acouple days later he got back to me and he sayd the person was on "vacation" and it wouldnt get to me for another week.   i kindly asked for a refund, and he CANCELLED the transaction on ebay. (i was told cancellation was only for things that arent shipped or payed for?) but he sayd that the refund would automatically go thru. i explained to him that he had to go to paypal to refund me.   he claimed that the refund button wasnt working.   i copied and pasted the instructions from ebay telling him exactly what to do to refund me   (i figured since he cancelled it, the refund button might not be working, but i also gave him the instructions to just send me money, like as a payment on paypal)     TODAY, he SAID he made a refund (i thought the refund button wasnt working?!) and he said to give it acouple days to go thru.   BUT NOTHING IS SHOWING UP IN MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT OR MY BANK ACCOUNT. and i thought any activity with my account would be emaild to me. NOTHING! should i yet again wait on him to see what happens? or should i just file a dispute?   (this has been going on about three weeks, im really tired of it, i just want my money so i can buy something i should of had a long time ago)        😞 plz help!             ... I bought a bass from this music store's website, and they said the bass wouldn't be in stock until April and they can keep the order open, so I figured I would wait for the bass until April. I ended up changing my mind and I emailed them to cancel the order. They said they would notify paypal. I assumed it would take long for my refund to arrive through the system. After almost two months, I contacted the music store because I thought they forgot to notify paypal or just flat out lied to me. They told me they have been trying to contact paypal because after 60 days only paypal can issue the refund. When I emailed paypal, they said the seller needs to refund my money through the money tab directly to my account. Who is right? ... View more
