For the most part the paypal app has been great for my typical use - grabbing shipping addresses while I'm at the post office. Depending on my schedule I may not print labels from paypal online so having a quick and convenient method to check these details is great, especially since my email provider doesn't have a nice interface for my phone and it's easier to look through paypal than perhaps searching through email. The downside is that some transactions don't seem to show up in the paypal app. Typically things which are pending or some payments (sent or recieved) depending on how new they are. I've not fully figured out the conditions under which they occur but it regularly is an issue for me since the only other time I'm making use of the paypal app is to get a quick idea of what my current balance may be or what transactions have affected the balance. Not being able to see all those details in the mobile app can be frustrating.
