Appealing Claim Decision

Hi, Last month I bought an acoustic guitar off ebay from a seller who stated " It still looks brand new - with not a mark on it.". When I recieved the guitar it was covered in scratches and had the odd dent or two, thus it did not look brand new at all. Since this was a deciding factor on me buying the guitar I opened up a dispute but the seller was uncooperative, so I escalated it to a claim. Twenty eight days later Paypal have come to their decision and have ruled in the sellers favour 😞   I rang Paypal today to try and make some sense of this and ended up talking to a nice rep (I think her name was Kathleen) and she explained to me that since the guitar was advertised as being used some marks are par for the course. I told her I would normally expect this but since the seller had stated in the ad there were no marks I feel justified in claiming that the guitar was not as described. After reading the full ad she agreed with me and has escalated the claim to her superiors for review.   I'm wondering is there anything else I should do or anywhere I should email? I just really want to get this sorted as quickly as possible.   Thanks, Joe. ... View more
