I was sending a payment to my sister for another sisters headstone,when i realised i`d put the email address wrong.So straight away i cancelled the transaxtion ( within seconds ),unfortunately this happened again before getting the right email address.So thinking everything was good and my sister was taken care of ,i double checked things and logged off.I checked my bank acount the next day to find i was overdrawn and being hit with charge !!! becouse PayPal had taken the payment out 3 times !!!. I got onto Paypal and they informed me that although you may cancell a transaction, it still gives them the right to withdraw the money from your account and after taking 5 days of being in thier bank (no doubt for earning interest),they put it in your paypal account. So remember people Paypal will rip you off for the interest and pull your money out of your account , even though you have cancelled a transaction !
