I just had a rude customer service manager at Synchrony Bank tell me they would MAIL my duplicate payment back to me! Not immediately return it even tho they are a bank!! I made my payment to PayPal extras Mastercard online like I do every month, but for some reason it was double debited!! They say they have no way of knowing how it happened but they knew it was 15 seconds apart! I couldn't have redone it in 15 seconds if I tried! Fraudelent! They said they could have IT dept investigate it but I would need to fill out a form & my payment would not return to me until that was completed! They say it is their policy to return double payments in error back by mail. Mgr said there is no other way. Nothing I could do since reporting it would take even longer to get my money back! Don't pay your bill online EVER! Call in & make the payment or mail it!! PayPal needs to do something about this bank & make sure customers are satisfied! I am not satisfied with this outcome and will be cancelling this card as soon as i have paid it off!
