How to Set up Click Button So User Enters Payment ...

I tried adding a Buy Now button to my website, but when it is clicked, the user is simply sent to the top of the web page.   I see now that apparently you need to have one price (or a drop down menu with more than one price) to use a Buy Now button.   In my case, the client's payment will be variable depending on circumstances, since the client is buying a service, not a product. I suppose I could use the Donate button, but that seems strange for a business transaction.   Can I use the HTML code for the Donate button but change the image to show a Buy Now button?   Any suggestions?   Thanks, Bill     ... Personal or Premier Account?

Hi,   I'm starting a low-volume online business where I will be offering a service that typically will cost $100 or less.   I was wondering which PayPal level--personal or premier--would better suit my needs. If I decide to keep the costs lower by requiring that the client use their bank account instead of a credit card, would the personal level suffice? Are there any limits on how much money I can receive each month using the personal level? I'm sure the monthly amount will be small, not more than a few hundred dollars.   One place, PayPal says, "New! Free for sender and recipient in the US when you send using your bank account or PayPal balance."   Elsewhere, PayPal says, "It's always free to send money to friends and family when you use your PayPal balance or bank account. Fees apply only if the sender uses a credit or debit card, or if you receive any payment for goods or services.   So, I assume there will be a fee to me, since I am offering a service. Correct?   Thanks for you help!   Bill ... View more
