I recently purchased an iTune Gift Card online. After making the purchase and paying via my PayPal account, the seller sent me an email (looked like an automated one), asking me to provide not only my shipping address but as well my home address (if in the US) and my phone number. Is this legal? Is it proper? Is it necessary? I have often purchased on the web using PayPal and rarely am I asking to confirm that I am the owner of the PayPal account, by provided this kind of sensitive and personal data. Thank you Goldhorn
