Hi, I have a website where I am selling various items, however, there is only one of each item. Once something sells, I have no more. My predicament is if a customer purchases that one item, I have to immediately remove that item from my website after it sells. However, if it's the middle of the night and I'm asleep, or out, or whatever, and another customer comes along and uses that same "Add to Cart" button before I have a chance to remove that item from my website, the sale will go through as if the item is still available. This has happened and of course, I have always sent a full refund when the item was no longer available. However, now that paypal charges a fee for refunds, I am forced to pay a fee simply because I issue a refund for an item that is no longer available. I have searched paypal and did not see an option to limit buttons so that once it is used the first time, there is a message saying "this item is no longer available". I would really appreciate your suggestions on how to limit purchases to one item once the "Add to Cart" button is clicked. Thank you.
