You will not only have to refund him, you may not get the amp back. Right now, you better be praying he doesn't file a chargeback. If he decides to file a chargeback, Paypal will "freeze" the selling price of the amp for several weeks, which means it will deduct this price from your Paypal account, and you will have to resolve any negative balance before you can use Paypal again, which means you have to replace the money either with your credit card or your bank account (hope you didn't sell it for very much). After they do this, you will get a notification that you have lost the case, and you will be hit with a $20 settlement fee. No one will require that the buyer returns the amp, and you cannot appeal it. So in essence, you will lose amp, you will lose the money you sold it for, and you will pay for the pleasure of it all.
