This happened to me as well, when I recently purchased a gift card. I contacted PayPal and all they kept telling me is that it wasn't considered an "unauthorized charge" and they wouldn't do anything about it. They said I had to contact the seller to resolve it. The seller says it has nothing to do with them, which is true. The charge was initiated by PayPal and it's their processing error, yet they refuse to take ownership about it.
