I did what you told me watchout and the bank said to give it an extra week. If not I have to walk in and fill out a form for transaction dispute. So I will escalate it tomorrow and hopefully I will not have to walk into the bank for a form. ... View more

Where did you sell the item off of? Ebay craigslist, hoobly? I had someone from africa who was interested in my ps3 I was selling off craigslist. He was oging to send me $600 plus $200 to ship it. I have never been protected as a seller nor has my little brother.  My brother sold a PS2 slim bundle with DVD box sets, games, and a limited edition resident evil chainsaw controller (Still in the box unopened). We packed everything tight with bubble wrap and sent it off. He got the item and said it was not as described. He opened up a claim and sent it back. When we opened it it looked like a tornado hit the box. The ps2 was busted, DVD's missing and the controller that was still in the packaging was busted into pieces. He got a partial refund but I was really P.O. He bought everything for $90.00 and the controller alone was worth that price. Maybe I should buy items and then strip parts and send it back. I just wish ebay was like it was when I first started buying in 1999. It seems like it went down hill after they added "No negatives" for the buyer. Buyers get to get away with murder and even if they get the item on time and they love it they can leave you a negative. If a buyer never pays you and you go file a claim for that you cant leave them a negative to warn other sellers. Come on!  ... View more

Your getting another Kudos Watchout . I would sell to you any day of the week! I should have mentioned that I got taken advatage of from a guy in spain. He bought an item that I was only shipping to in the US NOT worldwide, I put the item as like new and described it as best as I could. Well I was nice and sent it to him from New Jersey to Spain for $50.00. I should mention this is a car radio. Well he tried to get me with a paypal claim and I told him he would get a refund once I get the radio back. Well he decided he did not want to send it back. Guess he wanted it for free? Oh yeah, The reason he wanted a refund is because the radio did not come with the box. I know there are some honest buyers out there. I just wish I could sell to them LOL ... View more

I am in the same boat. I sold Aerogarden seed kits and described them in exact detail. This buyer bought 2 of them and asked for a refund. He said I lied in my description and the box's were wet. I did write that my box's did have water damge. Then he gets rude and says " Well if I have to read the full description then I will not buy from you anymore". He then opened up 2 ebay claims that I misrepresented my item. Well I replied back and said I did write in detail what he was getting and he admitted he did not read the full description.
