I shipped an item that was payed for , but AFTER I had shipped the item, the money was reversed, so now I do not have the item because it has been delivered, and the money that was used to pay for the item has been reversed to the buyer.
I contacted the buyer through ebay and he explained that his paypal had been hacked by someone in puerto rico (information paypal had not given me), and he did not know what the address I shipped the item to was. The fact that paypal has only said that there was a problem with the buyer and nothing else even when pressed is very concerning to me.
When I try to view the case in the resolution center from my student account it won't let me, so I log into the parent account that manages the student account, and it says I am not allowed to view the case.
I am deeply concerned that I do not have the $479.99, OR the item that is worth over $500.
I tried calling the resolution center but the woman I talked with made claims that paypal had contacted me directly and asked for more information on the transaction and that because I had not paypalsided with the buyer. But I never received an email or phone call regarding the case. But I have the tracking number and other requested information readily available.
Paypal has been dodgy and useless. I am just about ready to call the police.
