Hi, I joined the community just to help you .:) I have shipped probably thousands of packages with the small bubble mailers. .I don't make lables with the usps system normally but I do select package when I am determining shipping cost for out of country shipments & my cost is always right on the money as I figurered When I get to the p.o. . I usually make my lables with the Paypal system I select ... Service type ........1st class mail parcel [2-5 days] Then select .. package size........package/envelope then put the weight usually only 2oz. for my packages & it cost me 1.58 [if I don't insure] I love being able to make my lables at home & make a carrier pickup request for my post office.[from the usps website The post person gets credit for every package you have them pick up.mpre money for them 🙂 Hower it will only let you make a request for pickup if you have atleast one pri mail package or 1 out of country package . no problem, My carrier told me to select 1 pri mail package even if I didn't have one to pick up As to shipping out of country... I use the online usps shipping calculater to figure my cost, and send a check with my packages for them to get it ready at the post office for me . For instance for u,k. with a 2oz bubble mailer via 1st class international it only cost less then 3.00 If you have a valuable package it will cost you an extra 11.00 for Registered mail you must put it in a box & wrap special water activated tape around it. it is very secure. Everyone who handles your package will have to sign for it they will have the tape at your p.o. Ofcourse we have a smaller post office & I am not sure if just any p.o. will do this for you.
