I bought a laptop on ebay, the description said no refunds. It described the laptop as in 100% like new, perfect condition, no issues. It ran very hot and I wrote to seller twice right after buying it. It took two weeks for him to reply after I threatened to go to Paypal. He said just turn it off when not using. It's been hot all along and now will not turn on. Just black screen. When I wrote to seller last week to say the computer won't even turn on now, I got a nasty reply saying it's 9 years old and has no guarantee. And that's why is was $400 not $800. He also said there's no way Ebay or Paypal will refund because he wrote no refunds on the description. I feel ripped off. Apple says they cannot fix it, the diagnostics showed that it is dead. Paypal has turned down my claim twice. I'm stuck with a $400 dead computer. I would appreciate any advice. Very disappointed in Paypal. I am a longtime PayPal customer. I am thinking not to use Paypal any more. Thanks. MK
