I want to do business ONE TIME with a seller of services.  I am buying a ONE TIME service which they offer.  but most of their offerings are monthly subscriptions, which I am NOT buying.  I don't trust them to not try to take money again monthly.  How can I limit them to this ONE TIME payment and have it not let them take money again? ... Is there an alternative to Paypal?  This latest change, where you MUST use a bank account as a default primary funding source if you have one, is really the end of the line for me.  This highhandedness is too much.   So what are the alternatives, other than direct credit card purchases, which is a bit risky?     ...
