Hello, I received the email yesterday at 2:45 pm that I had been sent a payment. As of 9 am today the money is still not showing in my paypal account. I understand that it sometimes takes a few minutes to show up, but 18+ hours is a bit worrying to me - plus this is my pay for work, and I have bills to pay. What's up, PayPal??? ... View more

Was sending money to a friend who was going to buy me a wig (for medical reasons). I sent it from my Paypal balance as a "gift" to a hot mail address. Of course I had the wrong address and his actual email address is gmail.  Is there a way to cancel this transaction? I don't even know if the hotmail address is a real email address - and if it is, who it belongs to (what if they take the money? I've emailed asking them to not accept the funds, but who knows?). I don't have any more money to send and I *really* need this wig.  HELP!   ... View more

Unable to receive payment?

I have several people sending money to my personal PayPal account in order to buy a gift for someone.  So far today I have had three people tell me that they've tried to send money (they used the correct address, I asked) and got messages saying that my account was not able to accept a payment, or that it wasn't yet registered.
