I'm using PayPal Check Capture on an iPod Touch and it work OK, not great, but OK. We are experiencing a fair number of 'returned checks' no doubt to weaknesses in the scanning and verification process. Hopefully improvements are in the works there. The biggest weakness though is that there is no way to view the checks after they have been processed from your main account, online via a web browser. Yes, you can see the scans on your mobile device, but it's a cumbersome process to go back and forth through the mobile interface to view multiple transactions. If you can see the scans from your mobile device, how hard would it be to add that feature to your transaction history online? I'm going through a monthly reconciliation process and the only information I can glean in my account history from Check Capture processing is the transaction ID - and that is not very useful in trying to identify who the transaction is associated with. Please give us the ability to review the original scanned image from our online transaction history. Better yet, in the email confirmation we get for check capture, include an image of the check or at least the bank account and check issuer account name. These are critical pieces of information for cross-referencing purposes.
