Up until yesterday I had a balance in my paypal account to cover my ebay purchases which is about the only reason I use paypal. Because I didn't have the funds inpaypal to cover a purchase yesterday, I directed the payment to be made directly from my bank account which according to the paypal statement, it was now a "e-check". Today I rec'd a notice that a credit card of mine had been removed as it was no longer valid, but then looking at my credit card status on my paypal account, it still showed the card. ??????????????? Also, they but a 3-day hold on that purchase which I have never seen before when using funds directly from my bank account. Is there a connection here? I don't understand what is going on.
