rtr88   I'm glad they are not using a general form mail response to this issue as I got this one:   I'm sorry you have been having issues with PayPal's email notifications freezing or closing down your Outlook system. We recently implemented an update to our email notifications system, which has caused issues with some customer’s ability to view PayPal emails. A week later and Paypal has not addressed this. Do you as customer's agree to have yourself tracked by a third party just by getting an email from Paypal, I don't. FTC complaint time?   ... View more

I can confirm and have emailed Paypal as I urge everyone to do that the problem is this tracking pixel they have inserted into emails over the past week or so. Specifically you can find this tracking pixel near the end of the email   img border=0 width=1 height=1  id="_x0000_i1028"  src="//102.112.2O7.net/b/ss/paypalglobal/1/G.4--NS/123456?pageName=system_email_PP1520"   Here I show Outlook trying to pull that image and I've blocked it at my Firewall:   It appears this has been happening for a week and Paypal has been aware of the issue for at least 4 days with no fix. It's bad enough your selling our information to a third party or allowing a third party to track your customers but you don't seem to care enough to address the issue in a timely manner. Shall I send you a bill for my time dealing with this, my rate is $145/hr, afterhours and weekends $225/hr, min. 1 hour callout?   BTW I should add that the use of a tracking pixel in communications while common place with spammers has been viewed as cyberstalking by some areas like New York. ...
