Not sure i should post the transaction ID so i'll jsut describe whats happening: Bought an item off Ebay but the seller had ran out so he said he'd do a refund. The refund went fine according to paypal but today i log on to my email and theres, and email saying paypal failed to take money out of my account. Obviously random transactions are worrying for anyone, after finally tracking it down it turns out that aftr they guy had refinded me the money paypal had continued on their own to mess with it, first they converted it back to £ then they placed 2 holds on it and now they tried to take the money OUT of my account. Please someone explain to me what the **bleep** Payapl is even doing here?

That is if he thinks of that, if he is scamming he may just cut his losses.

If teh case is resolved in my favour then i will let him keep the account, otherwise if the case is in his favour then i may take the account back seeing as i do not enjoy being scammed.

Hi again John, thanks for replying. As i stated in an above post it seems alot of accounts are being scammed by people using french emails, either there are alot of french people losing their passwords or it could be him or a group opening accounts just to scam so their history itself is clean and it makes it look like this is an unusual payment. But what if it this guy but he's just claiming that, he has no buyer protection either.

After reading through the forums i find that a lot of people have had this same problem being ripped of by a guy from france or somene using a .fr email. @neuf.fr im guessing that this person has been doing it alot maybe not with this email but maybe with other emails, i seriously hope paypal look at his history of doing reversals on payments when they look into a claim by him.

I sold my World Of Warcraft account now he's reversing the payment after changing all the account information, but when i went to dispute it Paypal say provide proof of postage or refund him. How can i provide the postage on a digital item? Yes i have read the agreements and i have no seller protection for digital goods, but he has no buyer protection either. I advertised it on craigslist http://manchester.craigslist.co.uk/vgm/2008979071.html and he contacted me transaction went smoothly now he wants to scam his money back from me and all paypal want is proof of postage.
