Hi, I have in the neighborhood of 30 items I am still waiting for.  Now that the strike is on will I still be able to dispute items that may not be what they  were advertised as after I receive them?  Sure I seen something somewhere about some sort of time frame you have to open a dispute, but with an unknown such as the postal strike, what is going to happen? Please respond, already called and got dumped once while on hold, not willing to play this game. ... View more

Same problem here, and Canadian also.  What I find extremely funny is the fact that on some issues here on these boards an Admin steps in with some sort of vague explanation, that doesn't actually offer any sort of answer to anyone with these problems but looks good because they showed their face and danced around the issue.   But do you notice that anything like this they stay hidden, or have nothing at all to say!!!!  I too have also called support to address this problem, the service reps that answer can offer nothing for a reason.  Have been put on hold for twenty minutes while they get a supervisor, only then to be cut off??  From what I have been reading on here sounds as thou that is the way to answer those unknown issues... hang up. So with all the complaints and people that are unhappy about this issue, (that they are trying to resolve) you think after a few days, any company with programmers that can make and maintain a sight such as eBay, paypal, that they would have this worked out and fixed very quick, rather then have all the angry and upset customers. ... @BTG wrote: I have an account, its verified  I know I have enough money for something.. BUT I dont have a credit card..   how can i make instant payment without having to transfer money from my bank account to my paypal account?   I was thinking is it possible to get gift credit cards and link them to my paypal account? I've been noticing how it pays from your bank account directly and not your credit cards.   thanks In regards to your question about "can I use gift cards" the answer is yes, I use them all the time, just make sure to go online with the supplier of the gift card and leave a postal code or whatever it asks for, for verification.  The down side is everytime you add another gift card you have to make sure to change the payment method to that card (make it the primary card) .  And paypal automatically dings the card for a buck to verify its good, and then you wait days and days to get your money back. So long and short is make sure you buy a big enough gift card,to do what you need to do, and expect paypal to hang on to a dollar off of each one you use for days.My only thoughts on why it might take them so long to do this is, possibly, they make a lot of money from interest on all the money that sits in their account for days before being paid out to merchants or back to the buyers cards.I realize that interest on a dollar or two is nothing, but when you are talking about the amount of transactions and money changing hands on a daily basis through ebay and paypal, one in the same I think, then we have some serious coin we are talking about. BTW I only use Mastercard, and Visa giftcards, and am in Canada, definetly work here. ... View more
