I have a long standing issue (well over a year) with being unable to make a PayPal payment for Ebay purchases via the mobile apps. When trying to complete the purchase I get stuck in an endless loop of failed logon attempts with PP returning an error message: "Please add the number on your security key to the end of the password." even though the entered un/pw is correct.
I have made multiple calls to both PP and Ebay support and neither has been of any assistance is resolving the issue, in fact they just punt it back and forth with one blaming the other. I have tried all standard troubleshooting multiple times with no positive results. (Change PW, Uninstall/reinstall both apps, clear cache, clear memory, etc) Prior to this problem starting, I made 100's of payment via the same phone. The problem occurs for any smart phones or tablet I tried, but never via a laptop or desktop.
Any assistance would be appreciated as I am out of ideas and PayPal support seems uninterested in resolving the issue. They "log the issue" and then it falls into a black hole with zero follow-up.
