Hmm, i'm also new to paypal going through  something similare, however i havent actually made a deal yet... knowing the insurance i have first before doing it. But from what ive read.. you have a shot   Paypal offers NO protection on virtual goods (Including game accounts, virtual currency, and items) this hole is with the BUYER and the SELLER. So they are just as much of a sitting duck on this as you. I'm not sure why paypal had decided to side with them everytime... especially if they have a history of it. Do you have any proof that the Account information/currency/items were delievered to the person/company? If you do i'd suggest trying to get ahold of paypal and asking them to review your proof of delievery before they make a decision. If by luck they agree to have your proof.. also mention the reviews you read.. and where you found them.   But if i'm understanding this correctly.. you havent actually made the transaction, and if you're reading bad reviews about it.. i'd suggest just staying away from them.    Since i appear to be in the same area as you on this, would you mind mentioning what person/company you are going through?   Currently i'm looking at going through Gamepal.. They seem to be offering the best price for Selling things.. However the reviews i read are both REALLY good and REALLY bad.. i'm wondering if the operators of the potential scam are writing their owns reviews about themselves to make them look better. Also.. the offers seem a little too good to be true. ... View more

I am a online gamer, and have been working on several accounts on different games. Well, as time has gone by i'd stop playing them and get tired/bored of them. I Always see ads on sites buying and selling in-game currency, accounts, and in-game items.     So while searching around for  a quote on what one of my accounts would be worth.. the best price i stumbled onto was about $550.00 USD. They will only do payments through paypal. However i am worried about this because the account/items/currency are not a tangable item, and for some reason, this site requests your account information before your paypal information.. so your account is compromised before paypal is even brought into the situation.   In the event that this website/company were to hijack my account, would i recieve payment from paypal via a claim?   i do have a e-mail from the company stating the offer with a bid #..however i have not given out any info yet,.. wanna make sure i'm insured before i do. ...
