Hi friends, Late last year I read a post on TOPIX.com from someone that had bough a vitamin/brain boosting supplement for his wife. She was unable to take it due to certain side effects. This guy was posting about the side effects and near the end of his post said he was going to toss the supplement in the trash unless someone wanted to help him recoup the $ he spent on it. If there was anyone out there interested on helping him, he would in turn, send the remaining product. I knew this guy from various posts we had answered and emailed each other about so I thought, since I take the supplement, I would help him out and emailed him. He was delighted and said that I could send the $ via Papal to his wife account and that soon after the holidays he would ship me the remaining supplements. NOTE - I trust this guy a lot but one thing that concerned me was his request that, and I quote " papal is fine as long as you send it as a gift and not a product purchase" claims he was charged a fee for doing that once. I assured him that I was the one who would incurs the fee but since he was a "friend" and it really wasn't to purchase something more of a friendly gesture on my behalf to help him recoup the cost, I sent the money as a gift to a friend because, in reality, it could certainly be considered that. Well, 2 weeks later this "friend" appears to not have been the guy I thought he was and I cannot get a text, an email or an answer on his cell. I have not received the supplements. Should I open a dispute or write this off as a loss? Deep inside I feel like if I open a dispute, I will be opening a can of worms that I'm just not prepared to deal with right now. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. boryzark
