I can see your point about PayPal being a "caretaker" (for which they are amply rewarded). However, e-bay feedback usually tells you if you are dealing with a dishonest seller.  Reverse, e-bay feedback lets you know if you are dealing with a dishonest buyer.  I'm not sure how, but I would think there's a better way (like some form of escrow) to deal with PayPal's pathetic rules and it might be a lot cheaper. ... I AGREE! PayPal and E-Bay are now a monopoly. I'm drafting up a letter to my senator asking why E-Bay and PayPal are being allowed to operate like a monopoly. Unhappy PayPal users should do the same. As far as selling items, I'm seriously thinking of offering a discount to buyers who pay by money order.  Between e-bays charges and PayPal's charges are the USPS charges, a big chunk of money goes missing.
