Spent the last hour trying to contact PayPal to find out why my debit card suddenly stopped working and the first person I speak to doesn't know anything so they transfer me. While on hold within a few minutes I get disconnected "due to high call volume". Why can't I just wait in line for however long it takes to get connected? I've narrowed it down to something wrong on PayPals end because there is money in my account (plenty) and my debit worked fine yesterday. It was ran as debit, ran as credit and even manually entered and all were declined. I even changed my pin and tried again. Still declined. Usually PayPal seems good but today they totally dropped the ball.
