On 6/6, at 00:27AM, someone hacked my PayPal account for a "Mass Transaction" and got $460 from my account. They were kind enough to leave me $1.95. I filed a fraud report, and today I got an email that said I can check the status of my claim by going to the Resolution Center. Well, I went to the Resolution Center, and it says there's no claim open. They certainly haven't replaced my money in my account, so how can there not be an open claim. If PayPal wasn't the only game in town, I think I'd close my account. What are my chances of getting my money back? I know better than to give anyone my password, and this was the only place I used this password. How did they know exactly how much money was in my account? I'm so upset -- I can't afford to lose this money. When I talked to PayPal on Monday, they said they protect my money 100%, but they have to investigate to make sure this is a valid claim. How often do they determine that this is not a valid claim and I'm SOL?
