I just got this in my email as a response to reporting it.   Thanks for forwarding that suspicious-looking email. You're right - it was a phishing attempt, and we're working on stopping the fraud. I also thought this was a scam.  The browser that I use for Paypal is up to date. I checked on that recently to make sure.    The email scared me, since it uses my full name, and on the net I either use my nickname or a handle.  I figured that maybe the scammer got hold of my business card, which does have my full name.   It would have made more sense to suggest on the PayPal start page that it is important to have an up to date browser and not send this info to Paypal users, which looks like you are phishing. ...
