Shipping as parcel raises the cost of shipping over $1 though, from $.64 to $1.75. I am selling through etsy.com and they don't offer a choice of differnt shipping services, so I either have to raise the price of everything or stick with what I have and take my chances... so far only one issue in 40+ sales, so I shouldn't complain much. ... Customer Failed to Update account and package sent...

I was notified two days after sale that the customer failed to update her accounts after moving a year ago. She requested her item be sent to her new address, but the package already went out yesterday. It went first class mail with no means of tracking or stopping in transit. Item purchased was $8 with $2 shipping. What should I do?? I'm not sure I have enough to ship her a replacement order, but this also isn't my fault...  Her address was "Confirmed", but she has an "Unverified" account. Should I tell her to wait and see if it is forwarded in the mail system or hopefully that the new resident doesn't keep the package and returns it to me? Or just send her a refund and call it a loss?? Help! ... View more
