It all depends on whether your PayPal account is a business account or personal account, and what type of US dollar USA bank account it's going into. I used to be able to transfer US dollars from my PayPal account into a personal US dollar account, but then I was told that was not allowed and had to either open a business US dollar account in the US and use that, or figure out another way. I didn't open the US dollar business account in the US because I think it was about $85 USD per month to have a business account there, through RBC, and I didn't want to spend that kind of money. ... I opened an OFX account a few years ago to do USD CAD exchanges at a better rate than the banks, but just recently got the Global Currency account attached to it so I can have USD from my Amazon account, and now USD from my PayPal account deposited. I use to have an RBC USA (Georgia) account set up to transfer to, but it was a personal account, and they sent me a notice saying they won't accept deposits from a business account (Amazon) I to a personal account anymore. Not sure it's already listed here, but I have the same problem, so I opened up an OFC Global Currency Account. They give you a US based USD bank account you can have the USD transferred into. There's no monthly fee for the account, but they do take a % when you transfer. Ends up way less than USD - CAD - USD fees. Also, the exchange rate to go from USD to CAD is less than PayPal or your bank will charge. Let's see if this gets trough the PayPal message screeners. ... View more

I'm wondering the same thing. Just got a second overseas order, and now I'm supposed to figure out how to get the item to Sweden for $10.00 lmao.   Talked to PayPal a few days ago, and although US PayPal merchants can set up worldwide Destination Zones, and assign a shipping amount to those zones, Canadian PayPal merchants can't. AAARRRRGGGGGG!   I'm now trying to figure out how to make a note on the Checkout page notifying that if the destination is outside Canada or the US, they will receive an invoice for the difference in shipping.
