It seems that the device becomes completely unusable if it runs out of power, according to the support team. This is now my second terminal, and I barely used the replacement. After leaving it unused for a few months, I powered it on only to find it locked. To make matters worse, they’re offering a 10% discount on a new one – as if that fixes the underlying issue. It’s shocking that a battery-powered device is so poorly designed that it can be bricked simply by running out of charge. I’m done with Zettle; this is unacceptable.
