How do I communicate with paypal? I got scammed with a fake tablet. Paypal decided I should send the fake product back, so they can con some one else! So I asked the scammers for a return address. And they did not give one: "You can send you the correct return address after the platform applies for refund and the platform agrees." Now I would like to tell paypal that I cannot return the fake tablet since I have no return address. But I can only update my case if I provide a tracking number! I would really like to update my case with proof that I asked the scammers several times for a return address.... Or even better: If I somehow could force paypal to read the one star reviews of the scammers every day. All complain about the same product being fake! I really think it is the wrong decision to send the fake tablet back to the scammers.

Thanks for the answer. Good idea about the credit card but unfortunately my account is funded by donations. I do not dispute the legal stuff, but I still think it is wrong to help the scammers by sending the product back. Anyone else have any pointers or suggestions? My last idea is to report the store for abuse and hope another department can follow my logic. This way I have tried the following before giving in: 1. complaint to the store (obviously leading nowhere) 2. started a dispute and made aliexpress take action (I have to send it back) 3. asked PayPal to step in (I have to send it back - I am disappointed) 4. report the store to aliexpress (hoping someone else notice the scammers) If there was any question of this being a legit product I could easily understand the logic of sending the product back. It could be a misunderstanding in marketing material, an error in warehouse shipment, etc. But when I received a fake product I had really anticipated that paypal would do the right thing. Anyway - next time I guess I will use my creditcard instead of paypal and see if the credit card companies are more reasonable.

I bought a tablet that looked very nice but received a fake product. The tablet will say it has 22GB RAM and 2TB ROM but in reality it has 2GB RAM and 2GB ROM and can hardly run. When I bought I looked at the company rating and all looked fine. But now many other customers complains about the same fake product: So I complain to the shop and they offer me USD 20 for the "inconvenience". I refuse. Then they want to ship the fake product back. I then complain to PayPal and they say the same thing: I need to send the fake product back to the scammers. Yes, I do understand there is always to sides to a story but here we are talking about a fraudulent product. It is not a question of a bit too much marketing, or sending a different product by mistake. The problems are: 1. the scammers will sell the fake product to someone else 2. it cost USD 80 to ship it back to china 3. it is a waste of ressources (environment, time, etc) So my question is: are there any way to make paypal change their mind and make them do the right thing? I have offered to destroy the tablet and make a video. Hope you have some advice for me - I would hate to support this scam by sending the fake product back BR Theis
