I've just been on to Customer Service about this and had the following confirmation: Upon checking here, the Yubikey as 2FA is no longer active here in PayPal. We only have receive an SMS for verification code, Get an email, get a WhatsApp or Have us call you. A week ago when I couldn't get the Yubikey set up I set up authentication via an authenticator app. The whole process went through successfully, using the text code below the QR code, and confirming my first code from the authenticator app. But when I log in there's no option to use an authenticator app code.
