Hello PayPal Community, I'm a private seller who recently sold a used transmitter on Kleinanzeigen (similar to eBay classifieds). The buyer is now requesting a refund, claiming the sticks are defective and that they followed all instructions for calibration without success. Here are the key points of my situation: The item is used, and I clearly stated in my listing that I do not offer returns or warranties, which is common for private sales on Kleinanzeigen. The transmitter worked perfectly just a few days ago on my plane during a club flight, and I have witnesses who can confirm that there were no issues with the sticks or any other components. I also tested the transmitter in the Liftoff simulator before shipping it, and I have logs that show it was working without problems. The buyer claims the sticks are faulty, but I have never encountered any issues with calibration; in fact, everything worked fine for me. I'm concerned that the buyer may be attempting to return the transmitter with replaced or damaged sticks, as they are easy to swap. I've asked the buyer to send me a video showing the problem, as I'd like to help troubleshoot, but I fear they might try to scam me by returning a different or defective item. Has anyone experienced something similar? How should I handle this with PayPal to ensure I'm protected from potential fraud? Thanks in advance for your advice!
