A few days ago I had replied to an artist on twitter asking for a 3D model of a character for a game I'm making. However, a separate person came in, impersonating that artist, and told me to contact him via discord, and we put through an order thinking this was that person. It turns out they were a separate individual impersonating the artist I had supposedly requested from, and they told me to pay through a "friends and family" option via paypal. I am now out $204.99 and I'm wondering if I'm [Removed]. Is there no way to get my money back?
