Yep, got me too! I followed the link from Facebook’s site to the Sam Ash scam site. I realized moments after placing the order that it was scam and immediately called my credit card provider and put a hold on my card. I also realized that although my PayPal account is set up for two factor verification, that the verification process was skipped (no code sent). The seller on the PayPal receipt was listed as Wild Birds Unlimited. Since this appears to be a legitimate vendor (but does not sell drums!), does anyone know how that part of the scam works? How do they get the $129? Also, does anyone know if their data, such as credit card, bank account numbers, was compromised?
