I need help with this also, but there is no edit button on my recurring invoices. It's just using one of my old invoice number and incrementally increasing them on any invoice I send... never giving me an opportunity to change it anywhere that I can fine. This is truly messed up. I don't even see the invoice number until after I've sent the email to the customer and the invoice number is incorrect. It really make us look unprofessional and like we don't know what we are doing, which we don't, because PayPal has made it so complicated.
